Write about the point of view in the novel. Is it:

• first person (an I person tells the story)
• third person limited (you follow the perspective of one character)
• alternating point of view (the perspective changes between several characters. Can also be called third person “less limited”)
• or omniscient (an impersonal narrator seems to be reading the thoughts of several characters, even in the same chapter)

Give a couple of examples to prove what you are saying.

The book has a first person, an I person telling the story. One sentence that often is written in the book is starting with I and then something the main person thinks or do like one sentence can be like this: “I leaf through the newspaper to the calendar section” and the book starts with “Everyone thinks it was because of the snow. And in a way, I suppose that’s true”

Write a post about whether you will write a book analysis or a book report about your book. If you haven’t quite decided yet, you can write about that. What makes you uncertain?

I want to write a book report, because it’s something we haven’t done at school yet and I don’t like to write analysis so if I can choose I would choose a book report

Write about the world or the social environment or the setting of the novel. Is it a fantasy novel? Is it from a different time period? Describe how it’s different from the world you know. You can use your ideas later for the report/analysis that you will write.

The book is in this not a fantasy novel, the story could be true but that would be a sad happening. The story takes place in a normal world at our time.

The main character of your book is Mia who is dreaming of being one of the best cello player in the world. She lives with her mom, dad and little brother. One day a she gets to know a boy and they soon fall in love.

Did the first chapter make you want to keep reading, smash something, laugh or sob uncontrollably? Can you identify with the main character? Do you have other thoughts about the book you are reading?

In the first chapter it didn’t happen too much but I’m going to keep on reading it because I have seen the movie and that’s why I choose the book. The characters Mia and Adam is going to a American school and form my point of view the school I go to is different. Since I have seen the movie I think the story is good and I like the book.

The book startet of With the sentence “Everyone thinks it was because of the snow. And in a way, i Suppose that’s true” then we meet the Family and get introduced to a boy.
